Young Kanye Reads A Poem For MLK (Martin Luther King)

Before he was a household name, Kanye West even now knew how to command a crowd. A 12-year-old Yeezy is noticed reciting a poem in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. in uncommon footage from 1990. “My name is Kanye West and my poem is, ‘His Name Indicates Love,’” says Kanye with conviction although introducing himself to the audience. “What this man was fighting for, so blacks, Hispanics, Jews, and Asians could place their foot in the door.” Preach, Yeezy!
