Diddy is one of the most successful icons in hip hop, and the entertainment industry in general. So what’s a Bad Boy music mogul to do when he’s dominated major aspects of music already? Well, Diddy is reportedly planning on launching his own music based television network.
Similar to an MTV or BET based channel, Diddy’s own network is mentioned to be called “Revolt” and is expected to launch by the end of 2012– on this year’s 12/12/12.
Broadcasting and Cable has shared that it’s likened to the “old school” MTV, and will be all music videos and music news with a focus on more hip hop based audience. Diddy’s in talks to distribute his channel via Time Warner and Comcast, and B&C has the scoop on Comcast’s part in this rumored deal.
