Rihanna reportedly paid $6.9 million when she first purchased the house, but since the dwelling has been damaged by water and moisture, the performer was forced to sell for less.

The singer's former pad is said to have been 8,520 square feet and included 10 bathrooms, three fireplaces, a swimming pool, sitting on three quarters of an acre of land. The doors, windows, and balconies apparently suffered the damage, leading the singer to list her home as a “major fixer.”

Originally listing her home for sale for $4.5 million this past November, Rihanna was able to get more than her requested price since four people were said to have been interested in buying her contemporary house. It hasn't been revealed if the Umbrella singer plans to replace her old home, and is in the market for a new one.

In other news, Rihanna's ex-boyfriend rapper Chris Brown has reportedly been banned from interviews by his management team after previous questions about his former flame and the high profile 2009 assault angered him. This time around Brown will be keeping a low profile when it comes to Q&A sessions while making the promotional rounds for his latest studio album. Per Brown's manager, Tina Davis, who spoke with Billboard, the star will be focusing on showing off his talents.

“Not have him do interviews but to concentrate on performing and recording. It was something we set a while back. We’re not trying to be rude, selfish or disrespectful to anyone in any way. If people are going to judge anything, judge him for his talent. He signed up to sing and entertain. Not to talk about his personal life. We look at it as starting all over. Our grind, our choices are different than they probably would have been three years ago. But we are humbly trying to get back into the swing of things.”
