Rihanna's We Found Love, nets her
11th #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, as she becomes the fastest solo
artist in Billboard history to chart 20 top 10 hits, second only to The
Beatles!
“We Found Love”
is one of Rihanna's fastest chart-toppers to date, propelled by a
daring, cinematic video, brilliantly directed by Melina. Its rise to #1
comes four weeks after the song hit Top 10 on the Hot 100 – her 20th Top
10 hit, as Rihanna made Billboard history by collecting 20 Hot 100 Top 10 singles faster than any other solo artist, as reported by Billboard.com
on October 5th. The time span beat Madonna’s previous record (by five
months), and places Rihanna among all acts, second only to the Beatles.
Rihanna enters a very rarefied field as just the fifth woman to earn the honor, noted Billboard.com, citing Whitney Houston (with 23 career Top 10s), Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson (27 each), and Madonna in first place (37).
Rihanna was recently named the #1 female artist on Facebook, with over 46 million fans, she also has over 9 million Twitter followers. Leading up to the release of TALK THAT TALK
