Ross is expected to announce a new single and release date for his album God Forgives, I Don’t any day now. He has been in the studio with Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland, among others.

Mariah has been working with Jermaine Dupri and Randy Jackson on her first album since 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. She will fly to Paris later this month to celebrate her wedding anniversary and the first birthday of Dem Babies before her show in Ischgl, Austria, on April 30.

Brian McKnight found himself trending on Twitter with the release of “If You’re Ready to Learn,” a provocative song he wrote for his adult mixtape. The adult contemporary singer posted a video on Monday evening, giving his fans a taste of the raunchy material, which is a far cry from his romantic love songs.

Kim Kardashian’s ex Kris Humphries wasn’t the only one taken aback by Kanye West’s track “Way Too Cold.” Wiz Khalifa admits to being “very” surprised after Yeezy shouted him out.

“I’ve gone a long time without anybody ever saying my name out loud like that,” the Pittsburgh MC told Funkmaster Flex while promoting his new single “Work Hard Play Hard.” “It wasn’t a bad thing, it was just the fact that it was my name. It was wild, but it wasn’t nothing negative. Everybody got positive from it.”

The G.O.O.D. Music CEO rips into Humphries, but had nicer things to say about Wiz. “And the whole industry want to f**k your old chick/ Only ni**a I got respect for is Wiz,” raps ‘Ye on the song, which was previously titled “Theraflu.”

Despite her recent comments during her conversation with Tim Westwooo, Nicki Minaj has returned to Twitter a mere eight days after deleting her account. While she has reactivated her page, Twitter.com/NickiMinaj , on the social networking site, Ms. Minaj has yet to post anything since her last tweet on April 15. Deleting her account has cost her roughly 10 million followers, with only 1,439,220 still following the star at the time of writing. We are sure that this number will increase again real soon.

According To GateCrasher: A source close to Kanye West tells us the hip-hop artist, who’s known for his deadline-pushing ways, has yet to shoot a scene for the 30-minute film he’s supposed to debut next month in Cannes, France.

“He hasn’t even started the film yet,” says the source, who notes that West is “producing, writing, scoring and directing” the top-secret project, which is “a thriller” and will probably star fellow musical artist Kid Cudi.

Despite this little footnote, the insider says West is still moving forward with plans to show the mini-movie - which won’t be part of the festival’s program - on the Croisette.

Chris Brown fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on his new album. The R&B superstar has postponed its release from May to July.

Brown’s fifth album, Fortune, will now arrive on July 3, he announced on Twitter. It was previously scheduled for a May 8 release.

“Team Breezy! The official album date for FORTUNE is July 3,2012!!!!!!!!!!!!” tweeted Chris.

The follow-up to last year’s F.A.M.E. has spawned the singles “Turn Up the Music,” Polow Da Don-produced “Sweet Love,” and “Till I Die” featuring Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa.

Chris is also working with Tyga on Fan of a Fan 2, the sequel to their 2010 collaborative mixtape.

It’s that time again. B.o.B aka Bobby Ray will be releasing his much awaited sophomore LP Strange Clouds on May 1st. The album is preceded by the Lil Wayne assisted single ‘Strange Clouds’ which peaked at #7 on Billboard Hot 100 and the second one ‘So Good’ which is slowly moving up the charts, currently sitting at the #16 spot.

Strange Clouds is 15 songs deep on the standard edition while the Target Deluxe edition contains 5 extra tracks including the Nelly featured ‘MJ’. The album sampler / snippets hint at the fact that he’s once again aiming for an eclectic sound driven by Rap, Pop and Soft Rock.

Back in 2007, Jay-Z, Diddy and 50 Cent released “I Get Money (The Forbes 1-2-3 Billionaire Remix).” The song was a celebration of the artists’ inclusion atop the first-ever Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, now an annual package on the genre’s top-earning artists. It seems fitting that those same three artists find themselves in an even more exclusive group—the Forbes Five, a short list of hip-hop’s wealthiest moguls.

Indeed, the original trio boasts a combined net worth well over a billion dollars, rendering their lyrical prognostications accurate. They’re joined by Dr. Dre, flush with cash from his Beats headphone line, and Cash Money Records cofounder Bryan “Birdman” Williams.

Pharrell releases the cover to his upcoming book Places And Spaces I've Been, the book is availible for pre-order while it will be released on October 16th. The book features contributions from other notbale names such as Jay-Z, Ambra Medda, Takashi Murakami and Nigo. Back in February Skateboard P spoke to GQ about the book and said this:

“It’s just things and people that have moved me and inspired me around the world and that I am also honored to know.”

Uh, Suge does know what we all saw last weekend was a hologram, right? Anyway, during his chat with LA’s 93.5 KDay, the former rap mogul says that he believes ‘Pac hasn’t seen the after life yet.

“Maybe the question is … Pac’s not really dead … pac’s somewhere else. Nobody seen Tupac dead. The person who supposedly cremated Tupac … this guy got about 3 million dollars .. personally from me … cash … and next thing I know I never heard from the guy or seen him again … he retired and left.”

There were cries across the Roman Empire on Sunday when Nicki Minaj deleted her Twitter page.

The “Starships” rapper had amassed a large following on the social networking site with 11 million followers. It’s unclear exactly why she decided to disable her account, but it may have to do with a recent influx of negativity on her timeline. She was also unhappy when one fansite prematurely posted snippets of her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Moments before she shut down the page, she tweeted, “Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good fucking bye.”

Tupac is alive. Well, at least it appeared that way during Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s headlining set at Coachella on Sunday. The hip-hop icon was resurrected as a hologram, performing “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” with Snoop. The lifelike digital image was the most-talked-about moment during Dre and Snoop’s star-studded set, which also featured Eminem, 50 Cent, and Wiz Khalifa. Watch the eery performance below.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg closed out Coachella with a bang. The hip-hop icons served up plenty of surprise guests (Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, and a Tupac hologram), smoke, and West Coast anthems as they blazed the main stage on the third day of the festival.

A buff Dre made a subtle entrance in all black, while Snoop paid homage to Bob Marley with his rasta-colored accessories. They kicked off their 70-minute set with “The Next Episode.” “Where’s all my motherfuckin’ weed smokers at?” asked Dre before performing their 2010 track “Kush” and Snoop’s classic “Gin and Juice.”

“Me and my ni**a Snoop, we been together for 20 years,” said Dre before he and Snoop, with blunt in hand, performed their first collaboration “Deep Cover” followed by “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang.”

Photos of Nate Dogg flashed across the screen for “Ain’t No Fun,” as Kurupt and a self-promoting Warren G helped Snoop remember their late friend.

“I need 90,000 motherfuckers jumping around right now,” said Snoop as he delved into a cover of House of Pain’s “Jump Around.”

Grammy Award winner, Brandy is NOT playing games with her comeback. After promoting ‘It All Belongs To Me’ with Monica all week and attending various meetings with VEVO and AOL, the diva sat down for an interview with our good friend Silent over at TrueExclusives for a revealing chat.

The interview will be released in a series of clips and the first one is as juicy as they come because we find out about B Rocka’s lead single off forthcoming album, Two Eleven.

The first single from Two Eleven will be called, ‘Put It Down,’ and will feature Chris Brown! Yes, Breezy and Brandy, united on one track. I need a life alert button because I’m about to pass out.

Q-Tip is the newest addition to the G.O.O.D. Music family. The former Tribe Called Quest member has inked a deal with Kanye West’s label in conjunction with Def Jam, and will release a new album next year.

The 42-year-old rapper joins Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, and Kid Cudi on the famed label. He was previously signed to Universal Motown, where he released his 2008 album The Renaissance. He is currently recording his G.O.O.D. Music debut The Last Zulu, due in 2013.

Kevin McCall got his big exposure while shooting the Chris Brown-directed video for “Naked,” the first single off his forthcoming debut. The singer-songwriter, who is signed to Chris’ CBE label, went in front of the camera over the weekend in Los Angeles.

Sean was pimped out in a bright yellow suit with fur shawl and cane as ladies surrounded him at a fashion show. Breezy and Kevin also grabbed a front row seat, watching scantily-clad models strut down the runway.

B.o.B has revealed the tracklist for his upcoming album Strange Clouds, due May 1st.

Releasing the tracklist via Instagram, Bobby Ray reveals that his sophomore album will be an eclectic affair. Morgan Freeman contributes to the opening track "Bombs Away," while country-pop starlet Taylor Swift appears on "Both of Us." OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder is featured on "Never Let You Go," while Chris Brown and T.I. stop by for "Arena" and Nicki Minaj delivers on "Out of My Mind."

The Southern rapper previously explained why he's able to switch from rap to pop at a moment's notice.

"For me I feel like I been going through phases. And I feel like I’mma always go through phases,” he explained. “When I first started the first song I ever released was ‘Cloud 9.’ And that was like a smoker’s anthem. The first whole half of the song I was just singing on it…I kinda went through that phase. Went through [an] alternative phase where all I wanted to do was make rock music. Now I just feel like rapping. I feel like naturally I’mma sing, throw a melody here and there but I’m in emcee mode now.”

Check the official tracklist below.

After debuting “Theraflu” and the G.O.O.D. Music single “Mercy” last week, Kanye West got right back to work. Yeezy spent his Easter weekend in the studio with some familiar faces. Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, and Mos Def stopped by on Saturday, while A$AP Rocky, Fat Joe, Diplo, DJ Khaled, and Hit-Boy sacrificed family time for work on Easter Sunday.

“Missed the Fam this holiday but the sacrifice is worth it. NYC working with my mentor making special music,” tweeted Hit-Boy, who produced “Theraflu.”

Diplo also cooked up some beats for the discerning G.O.O.D. Music maestro. “Kanye def told me he aint fuckin with my circus noises. Doo-pee doop doop sounds no more,” joked the “Look at Me Now” hitmaker.

Detroit rapper Obie Trice just dropped a sick new album called Bottoms Up this week—including the Eminem collabo "Richard"—and Fuse's Esteban Serrano sat down with him to talk about spitting with Eminem on a track even after leaving Shady Records.

"I was out here in New York a few months ago and gave it to Em, and he was like, 'Let's get it,'" Trice told us. "We got it in and made 'Richard.'"

Regarding Em's deranged verse on "Richard"—which you can read about and listen to here—Obie had this to say: "It was kind of like a kick in the rib. I looked at him, and he looked at me like, 'Yeah.' It was definitely fun to do it, to be the studio with him again. It was real retrospective, we went back and talked about the old days."

The MC also talked about parting ways with Shady/Interscope and why he decided to form his own record label, Black Market Entertainment (BME). "The situation with Interscope just didn't work out—shout-out to Jimmy Iovine—but it just didn't work. I had to keep moving and BME is what I came up with.

"The whole idea behind it is just to give back like Eminem gave back to D12, Royce da 5'9" and me from Detroit. [BME is] totally different from a major."

For the full interview with Obie Trice III, check out the video above.

The recent shooting of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin has ignited a war of opinion in the United States, and now three hip hop heavyweights are stepping into the ring.

Mos Def (now going by Yasiin Bey, which isn't his birth name in case you were wondering) and Dead Prez recently recorded "Made You Die," a song about the Trayvon Martin shooting over Nas' 2002 classic "Made You Look".

In the behind-the-scenes video below, Mos Def says some incredibly powerful and potentially controversial things about the song: "If you come from poor communities, from black communities in this country, and you see a casual, systemic indifference to black life, you have to respond. It's in your own self-interest. It's not even outstanding or courageous; it's a survival issue. Either we're going to fix this or we're going to agree to be slaves."

Watch the video below, and let us know what you think in the comments below.

The swagger was on a hundred thousand, trillion on set of Swizz Beatz’ flashy video for “Street Knock” featuring A$AP Rocky, the first single off Swizzy’s upcoming mixtape Limitless.

The trendsetting rapper-producer met his match in the Harlem newcomer, known for mixing street attire with high-end fashion. Swizz rocked a leather Keith Haring bandana and kicks from the Reebok Allen Iverson collection while riding in the chrome Lotus Evora GTE, which he designed. His fellow Ruff Ryder Jadakiss stopped by to make a cameo in the TAJ-directed clip.

See them stunt on set of the New York shoot.

Lil Twist prepares to unleash a storm with his debut album Don’t Get It Twisted, arriving later this spring. The 19-year-old Young Money rapper sees a tornado in the reflection of his shades as he stands in front of the Dallas skyline on the cover. Twist has recruited a star-studded cast including Justin Bieber (“Wherever You Are”), Nicki Minaj (“Wind It”), Drake, Lil Wayne, and Busta Rhymes, who appears on the single “Turn’t Up.”

Big Sean is doing it big. Fresh off his appearance on the G.O.O.D. Music single “Mercy,” the Detroit rapper is lining up more superstar collaborations with Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne.

During an interview with Power 106 (via L.A. Leakers), Sean announced that he and the Biebs have recorded together. “We got something in the works,” he said. “You gon’ see it sooner or later—either my album, his album, we’ll see.”
