Hot Newz: Kanye West Returns to Paris Fashion Week with New Collection

Unhinged by the critics, Kanye West returned to Paris Fashion Week to unveil his second womenswear line on Tuesday. The rapper-turned-designer presented 20 looks from his fall/winter ready-to-wear collection to a star-studded audience filled with designers and celebrities including Alicia Keys, Anna Wintour, Big Sean, Shyne, Kim Kardashian, Cassie, Common, Diddy, and Swizz Beatz. Following a musical intro, models, strutted down the runway dressed in blackleather, gold, velvet, crocodile, and fur.

Mr. West addressed his second foray into the world ofwomenswear. “I learned a lot from the last one,” he told The Wall Street Journal. “I’m learning every day. I’m a new designer. I’m taking baby steps.”

The new collection has already earned more favorable reviews than his first last fall. “This collection looks like he has had a lot of consultants working with him,” wrote the WSJ’sChristina Binkley. “But it’s way better than before.”
