After dropping his well-received mixtape The Big 10
last December, 50 Cent is giving his fans more free music. The hip-hop
mogul has teamed with DJ Drama on his first Gangsta Grillz project
called The Lost Tape.

with Joan Rivers, 50 took to Twitter to announce his plans. “I’m
dropping another mix tape called the lost tape with DJ drama My first
gangsta grillz mix tape,” he tweeted.
DJ Drama added, “Arguably the two most important brands in the mixtape game in the last 10 years. 50 Cent & Gangsta Grillz.”
50 previously told his label Interscope Records that he would release more free music if they didn’t move forward with his album. “I need a record deal jimmy iovine, call me early tomorrow or I’m putting out another mix tape,” threatened 50, whose fifth album is due July 3.
Wiz Khalifa has a new place to call home. The “Black and Yellow” rapper has purchased a 3,891-square-foot crib in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, for $900,000.
Nestled on 2.8 private wooded acres, the 5-bedroom, 4-bath eco-friendly property features Brazilian Koa floors, stainless steel appliances, a separate guest house, plus a lavish master suite with high ceilings, where he’ll be spending more time with his fiancée Amber Rose. It’s not far from his alma mater Taylor Allderdice, where he attended high school.

After several delays and a public battle with his label, 50 Cent is finally ready to release his new album. The hip-hop superstar has announced a July date for the oft-delayed project.
“My album is coming out july 2. I got some heat trust me I’m ready,” tweeted 50 about the follow-up to 2009’s Before I Self Destruct, which will mark his fifth album for Interscope Records before his contract is due for renewal.
He previously made threats to his label on Twitter, demanding that they move forward with his album or he would put out more free music. “I got 3,500,000 views in 3 day on hands up. Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine, call me early tomorrow or I’m putting out another mix tape,” cautioned 50.
Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have outgrown their love nest. The power couple is putting their New York penthouse on the market for a whopping $17,950,000. The luxurious 6,167-square-foot triplex features 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, and 4 powder rooms. They acquired the pre-war condo from Lenny Kravitz in February 2010 for $12,750,000.

50 Cent reminisced on his glory days with his headline performance at the Shady 2.0 Showcase at South by Southwest on Friday night. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Get Rich or Die Tryin’, the hip-hop superstar performed a 50-minute set consisting of his entire 2003 debut.
Following a 15-minute delay, 50 stormed the stage at Austin Music Hall in a camouflage bulletproof vest. With Tony Yayo by his side and DJ Whoo Kid on the turntables, the G-Unit mogul kicked things off with “What Up Gangsta” before bringing out Eminem for “Patiently Waiting.”
“It’s been a minute, man. Yeah, 10 years,” 50 told the restrained crowd. “Don’t try to front on me. I make classics,baby.”
Rihanna may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but to her family she’s still the same old Robyn. The “We Found Love” singer celebrated her grandmother Dolly’s birthday in New York on Friday night.
Earlier in the evening, the paparazzi spotted the blonde babe making her way through the aisles at Whole Food, picking up dishes and a birthday cake, before heading to the intimate house party. RiRi threw down in the kitchen and toasted the occasion with her grandparents, sharing the personal moments on Twitter.
Her grandfather joked about her always changing hairstyle. “My GranDad: Robyn how ya is get hair from red to cream to black??? Cuz ya don’t carry wigs!!! Ya does wash it out?!” she tweeted.

Rihanna’s collaborations with Chris Brown made plenty of noise when they were released online last month. Now the pop star is speaking out about her musical reunion with her ex-boyfriend.
The former couple recorded remixes for their songs “Birthday Cake” and “Turn Up the Music.” “The first song that came about was ‘Birthday Cake,’” she told Ryana Seacrest. “I mean we ended up recording them at the same time and executing them together, but I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really—it made sense to do the record.”
Despite their tumultuous past, she immediately thought of her ex. “Just as a musician despite everything else that was going to be the person,” she continued. “You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like, ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade off.”

In new footage, Wayne practices his moves while speeding through skate parks. The clips find Weezy slipping up a few times, however, he prefaces the video with a note to viewers that in a year's time he'll be better. “I promise you this day next year, I will be… not 10 times better, not 100 times better, not a million times better, but the best," he said.

Earlier in the day, she performed near a waterfall with her hunky male co-stars, who wore pink in her honor. After wrapping the all-day shoot, Nicki celebrated with a cake featuring her single cover.

Jay-Z isn’t the only hip-hop superstar heading to South by Southwest. 50 Cent will headline the Shady 2.0 Showcase in Austin, Texas, later this month.
The G-Unit mogul will perform his 2003 debut Get Rich Or Die Tryin' in its entirety for the first time at Austin Music Hall on Friday, March 16. Shady Records signees Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse are also on the bill.
Rihanna served up more eye candy while filming the sizzling video for “Where Have You Been,” the Dr. Luke and Calvin Harris-produced dance single off her sixth album Talk That Talk. The Barbadian beauty went topless on the first day of the shoot in L.A. on Wednesday, giving her fans a peek on Twitter.
“Video shoot goin MAJAH!!! Longest day everrrrr tho!!! #WHEREhaveUbeen #stillgoin,” tweeted RiRi, who traded her blonde hair for a more natural look.
The dance-heavy clip is being choreographed by HiHat, who oversaw Rihanna’s Grammy and BRIT Awards performances.

Unhinged by the critics, Kanye West returned to Paris Fashion Week to unveil his second womenswear line on Tuesday. The rapper-turned-designer presented 20 looks from his fall/winter ready-to-wear collection to a star-studded audience filled with designers and celebrities including Alicia Keys, Anna Wintour, Big Sean, Shyne, Kim Kardashian, Cassie, Common, Diddy, and Swizz Beatz. Following a musical intro, models, strutted down the runway dressed in blackleather, gold, velvet, crocodile, and fur.
Mr. West addressed his second foray into the world ofwomenswear. “I learned a lot from the last one,” he told The Wall Street Journal. “I’m learning every day. I’m a new designer. I’m taking baby steps.”
The new collection has already earned more favorable reviews than his first last fall. “This collection looks like he has had a lot of consultants working with him,” wrote the WSJ’sChristina Binkley. “But it’s way better than before.”

When asked to describe the album in one word, she responded, “FREEDOM.”
The follow-up to her 2010 debut Pink Friday will feature 22 tracks when it arrives on April 3. She is planning to release at least one more “teaser” before the project drops.
It was a Bad Boy reunion at Paris Fashion Week. Sean “Diddy” Combs linked up with his former signee Shyne at the Kenzo show on Sunday. “Me and Shyne Po front row at Kenzo,” wrote Diddy. Shyne, who is an Orthodox Jew, was dressed in his traditional Hasidic garb as he sat alongside the hip-hop mogul and later headed to dinner with the Bad Boy crew including Cassie.
The two have reconciled after Shyne took the rap for the infamous Club New York shooting in 1999. He served a nine-year prison sentence after being convicted of assault and gunpossesion , while Diddy was acquitted.
“As far as Puff is concerned, that’s been a long time coming,” Shyne recently told MTV News. “He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn’t ready for it.”

Nas architects a new record imprint, according to Young Money's Tyga.
Nas has reportedly launched a new record label titled Kings and Queens.
During an interview on MTV's RapFix Live with Sway Calloway, Tyga, who collaborated with Esco and Wale on the cut "Kings and Queens," said that the Queensbridge rapper took inspiration from the cut and decided to start his own imprint bearing the same name.

AZCentral is reporting that 13 people were shot outside of a Nipsey Hussle show in Tempe, Arizona last night. Police responded to the call at about 11:30 pm. When they arrived, 2 people were transported to a local hospital in serious condition. No fatalities have been reported. Police are looking for two men wearing dark clothing that fled the scene on foot. Subsequently, Nipsey never took the stage last night. Still a developing story, stay tuned for more details.
A total of 14 people were shot. 2 are still in critical condition, but are expected to survive. 1 suspect is in custody, 2 are still at large. The suspect was arrested as he tried to drive away from the scene. Police confirm that the shooting was gang related. Nipsey is a known member of the crips gang. A similar shooting occurred two days ago when Hussle was performing in Tucson, AZ. Tempe PD is investigating whether the club failed to secure 250+ people waiting outside of the club as this was not the first shooting the club has witnessed.

The initial estimate of Chris Brown's "Fortune" drop date was March, but after the recent release of the album's official first single "Turn Up the Music," RCA needed a little more time for it to, well, turn up.
Thus, "Fortune" has been assigned a May 8 arrival, and the R&B/pop star has unveiled some symbolic album art ahead of time. That is, "Fortune" is actually spelled out in several different languages, with the main title in some symbols that appear to be made-up. Brown poses in a suit with gloves and glasses.
