After keeping her fans waiting, Brandy has revealed the title and release month for her RCA/Chameleon Records debut.

She made the announcement during her live show at Factory in West Hollywood on Friday night, later tweeting it out to her followers. “Two Eleven – June 2012,” she wrote.

The title represents the month and date of her birthday, February 11. It also happens to be the day her mentor and friend Whitney Houston passed away. She dedicated her 2008 single “Right Here (Departed)” to her during last night’s performance.

The initial estimate of Chris Brown's "Fortune" drop date was March, but after the recent release of the album's official first single "Turn Up the Music," RCA needed a little more time for it to, well, turn up.

Thus, "Fortune" has been assigned a May 8 arrival, and the R&B/pop star has unveiled some symbolic album art ahead of time. That is, "Fortune" is actually spelled out in several different languages, with the main title in some symbols that appear to be made-up. Brown poses in a suit with gloves and glasses.

Santigold takes on three different roles on the regal cover of her sophomore album Master of My Make-Believe, due May 1. In the photo shot by Jason Schmidt, the Philadelphia-bred singer transforms into a “Bond girl” wearing a gold bodysuit by Alexander Wang, an army officer inspired by a painting by Kehinde Wiley, and a mafia Don (“Some sort of ruler in my own reality,” she says). The artwork is based off 18th-century British artist Joshua Reynolds’ painting of Banastre Tarleton titled “Portrait of an Officer.”

The old Kid Cudi is gone. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper killed off his former self, showing the bloody scars with a gruesome new tattoo.

“New Tat The old Scott is dead…slit wrists,” wrote Cudi, who released his WZRD album with Dot Da Genius today.

The project is already #1 on iTunes, but he is not happy with the way his label has supported it. “Ok so just a heads up, my weak ass label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off,” he tweeted. “They tried to rush me thru this so i can just give em another MOTM, but guess what? Fuck that, next album is WZRD. MOTM3 on hold til 2014.”

The duo is planning to tour in support of the album and is already working on a follow-up EP.

What do you think of Cudi’s new ink?

Now here’s something you don’t see every day. “Golden Girl” Betty White got some thug motivation from Young Jeezy backstage at “Conan” today. “With the OG Betty White,” tweeted the Snowman, who will perform his new single “Leave You Alone” with Ne-Yo on tonight’s show.

Don’t expect to see Frank Ocean perform “American Wedding” at Coachella in April. Eagles founder Don Henley has reportedly threatened the Odd Future singer with legal action if he performs the “Hotel California”-sampled song live.

Ocean’s version, which appears on his 2011 debut Nostalgia, Ultra, borrows from the Eagles’ 1977 classic. The sample was not cleared and the project was never commercially released.

“Don Henley is apparently intimidated by my rendition of hotel california,” revealed Ocean, who performed the song live during his brief tour last year.

The first major-label run for Uncle Murda did not go as expected, as he was signed toward the end of the Roc-A-Fella Records’ run. Damon Dash left as he signed with the label and Jay-Z soon established a deal with Live Nation, thus ending Roc-A-Fella as known to the public.

When Jay-Z left Roc-A-Fella Records, the artists signed were either absorbed into Def Jam, or dropped. Uncle Murda was dropped and returned to the mixtape scene on the streets of New York. With no label behind him, Uncle Murda still managed to generate interest.

One of Uncle Murda’s biggest supporters, from the beginning, was DJ Kay Slay. On Twitter, DJ Kay Slay offered congratulations to the former Roc-A-Fella emcee on his new deal with Epic Records. Last fall, the L.A. Reid-operated Epic Records signed Future, the Atlanta sensation behind the “Tony Montana” hit.
